The Pad Dog Grooming

Experienced. Friendly. Professional.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you bring in your dog to the salon we will discuss the style of cut you desire for your dog, taking into consideration their breed, coat type, and your preferences. Additionally, we will inquire about any specific ailments or sensitivities we need to be mindful of during the grooming process.
Once you've departed, Faye will begin the pampering experience for your dog. To ensure their safety and ease of handling, we will secure a lead on your dog and gently connect them to our spacious grooming table.
Firstly, we engage in thorough brushing and cutting. Our goal is to eliminate any unnecessary hair, tangles, or mats.
After the brushing and cutting phase, it's time for a refreshing bath using our luxury products.
Once our canine companion has enjoyed a relaxing bath, they are gently towel-dried and placed under a warm flow of air from our hair dryer.
At The Pad, we understand the importance of providing a professional and personalized grooming experience for your beloved companion.

We offer our services completely Cage Free!!

OUR SALON POLICIES

CANCELLATION/TIME KEEPING POLICY:

We reserve an allocated time for your pet to ensure that every dog left at The Pad receives one to one care. Not all dogs are comfortable around other dogs, so if you are early please wait before entering the salon until your allocated time so our one to one service can be honoured for every groom. If you are running late please call the salon to notify me and I can assess whether there is enough time to carry out the appointment. You may be asked to re-schedule and you will be charged in full. If you are more than 15 minutes late after the groom a late fee will be charged unless notified beforehand. We require at-least 24 hours notice for all appointment cancellations. Late cancellation and missed appointments will be charged.

FLEA AND TICK POLICY:

At The Pad we take every precaution to keep it a flea free environment. If your dog has a flea infestation we ask that you reschedule your appointment until they are flea free. 24 hours notice must be provided to avoid a cancellation charge. Your dog should receive ongoing flea treatment as recommended by your vet prior to booking any grooming sessions. Should you arrive and your pet has fleas the grooming appointment will be refused and this could incur additional charges. If fleas are found on your dog mid-groom you will be notified of this and a flea shampoo will be used in the best interest of the dog however, this will incur an additional charge to cover the costs of the disinfecting procedure of the salon.
